National Child Exploitation Awareness Day highlights the importance of raising awareness about all forms of Child Exploitation. This includes modern slavery, criminal exploitation, sexual exploitation, and trafficking.
The theme for this year is “Safeguarding is everyone’s business”. We are encouraging everyone to think, spot and speak out against exploitation which is a form of child abuse.
The Safeguarding Partnership have produced a briefing to raise awareness, share information and resources to safeguard children and young people from exploitation.
