The Stronger Families Hub provides a single point of contact for all professionals and residents. It has a dedicated email address, phone number and one single online referral portal.
Families can access a wide range of services via the Stronger Families hub. This may include raising concerns regarding a child’s welfare or accessing parenting support. The hub also addresses adult social care concerns reported out of office hours.
All professionals in Hillingdon can use the hub as a single point of contact for advice and support. This may include reporting safeguarding concerns or requesting support for SEND, Early Help or adolescent services.
What To Do If You Are Concerned About A Child?
If you think that a child is being abused or neglected, complete the online referral and call Stronger Families Hub on 01895 556 006. If you believe that a child is in imminent danger, this is an emergency, call the Police on 999.

The Hillingdon Safeguarding Partnership has adopted the pan-London Safeguarding Children Procedures. This document provides guidance for agencies on when to refer child welfare concerns to protect children from abuse and neglect.
Hillingdon Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH)
Located within the Stronger Families Hub are the MASH team. They are a multiagency team with representatives from different agencies. They work together to share and review information quickly to decide the most effective actions required to protect children and support their family where there are concerns about abuse or neglect of a child.
Early Help for Families
Stronger Families Key Work is a locality based Early Help and Prevention Service. They support children at the earliest possible stage by working closely with partners across Hillingdon. The service engages families by providing targeted support to ensure a safe, stable and nurturing environment in which children, young people and parents can thrive.
This service also offers The Parenting Apart Programme (PAP). This supports parents whose relationships are fragmented including those experiencing conflict, divorce or separation. PAP provides support for parents to work towards an agreed co-parenting relationship.
This is only available for families where no safeguarding concerns have been identified and it is safe for children to have contact with either parent. Both parents must give consent to participate in the PAP.
If social work intervention is not required, the Stronger Families Hub will signpost enquiries to various agencies within the Borough to provide support to the child and their family without the need for Children and Young People’s Services involvement.
