As a result of the Children and Social Work Act 2017, the Hillingdon Local Safeguarding Children Board has been replaced with the Hillingdon Safeguarding Partnership. Please see the following document which sets out the arrangements now in place.
Hillingdon Safeguarding Partnership: Response to Coronavirus
Hillingdon Safeguarding Partnership has been working hard to ensure that safeguarding arrangements are in place for our most vulnerable children and families. Practitioners across all agencies are to be commended for their commitment, creativity, and drive to ensure that children and families are provided with the services they need wherever it is possible to do so. The current position is reviewed daily and informed by advice from central government, Public Health England, the Department for Education and a number of other bodies who help shape and inform safeguarding services locally and nationally.
If you have concerns about the welfare of a child please continue to contact the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub on: email@example.com or 01895 556644.
For members of the public the NSPCC provides a confidential helpline that you can call on 0808 800 5000 for advice or to report concerns.
The Hillingdon Safeguarding Children Partnership brings together all the main organisations who work with children and families in Hillingdon, with the aim of ensuring that they work together effectively to keep children safe. Children can only be safeguarded from harm if agencies work well together, follow procedures and are well informed and trained. In addition to this we want to make sure that parents, children, young people and professionals have easy access to information regarding child safety issues. This website provides information about what we do, information and guidance for professionals and advice and signposting for parents, carers, children and young people. We hope you find this website useful.
If you are worried about a child or are concerned about an on-going issue involving a child please contact Hillingdon Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) directly on 01895 556633, or alternatively if you feel a child is in immediate danger then call the Police emergency number 999.
All of us play a part in keeping our children safe.
