As a child or young person, you have a right to be safe in all environments, for example, at home, school, on the street and even on the internet. It is the role of parents, carers, teachers, learning mentors, doctors, nurses, social workers, police officers, faith leaders and other professionals to ensure that you are safe from harm.
If you’ve got a problem or are worried about someone else, the information in this section gives you advice on what to do.
Coram Voice are commissioned to provide independent advocacy support to Hillingdon’s looked after children and care leavers. Coram Voice advocates will support children and young people who want to have a greater participation in the decisions made about their future.
This section of the website has been written with our children and young people’s consultation group and we are very grateful for their help in making it better. Consultation means that we ask what people think and, most importantly, listen to what they say.
