The Hillingdon Safeguarding Children Partnership has a responsibility to work across all the local agencies that provide services for children and young people. The main function of the Partnership is to coordinate the way services are provided to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people in the borough and to ensure that services are provided to agreed standards.
The Hillingdon Safeguarding Children Partnership is comprised of statutory and voluntary partners. These include representatives from Health, Education, Children's Services, Police, Probation, Youth Justice Service, the Community and Voluntary Sector.
The Hillingdon Safeguarding Children Partnership is responsible for ensuring that children are safeguarded within the Borough.
The Hillingdon Safeguarding Children Partnership Business Unit supports and services the Hillingdon Safeguarding Children Partnership Board and the sub-groups.

The Hillingdon Safeguarding Children Partnership has agreed priorities for 2021/2022 that will focus the work across all partner agencies. The priorities are reviewed at each board meeting and reported on in the annual report.
